Terms of Service

1. Service Description

FormatFlip (“the Service”) is a browser-based image format converter operated by Frequency AI Ltd, trading as Cashew Crate. All image processing occurs entirely within your web browser. No files are uploaded to our servers.

2. Free and Paid Tiers

The Service offers a free tier with limited usage (1 conversion per day) and a paid Pro tier at $5/month that removes all limits. $5/month for this app (cancel anytime), or $15/month for Crate Pass (all apps).

3. Privacy

Your files are processed entirely in your browser using Canvas API and WebAssembly. We do not upload, store, or access any of your files. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

4. Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Polar. You may cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

5. Refunds

Email support@cashewcrate.com with your order number and a description of the issue.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for any data loss, image quality issues, or compatibility problems arising from the use of the Service. Since all processing happens in your browser, results may vary based on your browser's capabilities.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service beyond what is permitted by applicable law.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
